After you submit

What happens next, and how fast

No call centre, no queue, no drip of marketing email. The form goes to a coordinator, and the coordinator is the person you deal with from here to delivery day.

Household goods being packed into cartons before a move

Within one working day you will hear from a named coordinator — by phone if you gave a number, by email if you would rather not be called. That first conversation is short and practical. They confirm what is moving, where it is going and when you need it there, and they flag anything about the route that is going to matter: a country with strict rules on used goods, a sailing schedule that is about to tighten, a destination where the delivery address needs checking before a container is booked.

If the move is small and simple, you may have a firm written price the same day. For most household and office moves the next step is a survey, because a price given without one is a guess dressed up as a quote. We can do it in person in the cities we cover, usually within a day or two, or by video call immediately if you are working to a tight deadline. Either way it takes under an hour and produces a written inventory you can check line by line.

The quote that follows names every charge: packing material and labour, the vehicle or the container, loading and unloading, customs work at both ends where the move crosses a border, transit insurance, and GST. Nothing is folded into a single round number. If a cost genuinely cannot be fixed in advance — storage if your handover date slips, or port charges if a shipment is held for inspection — we say so plainly and tell you what it would be, rather than discovering it for you later.

Getting a sharper number

What to have ready when you fill this in

You can send the form with almost nothing and we will still come back to you. But the more of this you know, the tighter the first number is.

Both addresses

Not just the cities. The building type, the floor, and whether a lorry can reach the door decide how many crew hours the job takes and whether a shuttle vehicle is needed at either end.

Roughly how much

Number of bedrooms is a fine starting point. If you already have an inventory, or you know the big awkward items — a piano, a treadmill, a five-seater sofa, a double-door fridge — mention them.

Your dates

A firm date, a window, or simply the month. Month-end and festival weeks are the busiest in every Indian city, and knowing early is what gets you the slot you actually want.

Vehicles and pets

Both travel regularly on our corridors and both are governed by the destination country’s rules. Telling us up front changes the routing and sometimes the timeline, so it is worth a line in the form.

Storage, if there is a gap

Handover dates rarely line up neatly. If you need somewhere for your things to sit for a few weeks between homes, say so and we will price it in rather than bolt it on.

For a business move

Your IEC and GST number, the commodity, the HS code if you know it, and the Incoterm you are trading on. With those we can quote the freight properly instead of estimating around them.

Three kinds of number

Ballpark, surveyed quote, and the invoice

A ballpark is what we can tell you from a phone call or this form: a range, based on the size of the home and the lane. It is useful for budgeting and for deciding whether to keep talking. It is not a price, and we will not pretend it is one.

A surveyed quote is a written document produced after someone has actually counted your things. It lists the inventory, names each charge, states what is excluded, and holds for a stated period. This is the number you make decisions on, and it is the number we hold ourselves to.

The invoice should match the surveyed quote. It changes only if the job changes — you add rooms of contents after the survey, the access at the delivery end turns out to be different from what was described, or you ask for storage that was not in the original plan. When something like that happens we tell you what it costs before we do it, not afterwards.

That sequence is the whole point of working this way. The complaint people bring to us about their last move is almost never the price itself. It is that the price moved after they had committed, when they had no leverage left and a lorry was already outside.

Good to know

Questions about the quote itself

If yours is not here, ask the coordinator — they would rather answer it now than have it surface on moving day.

Is the quote free, and am I committing to anything?

The quote and the survey are both free, and neither commits you to anything. You are welcome to use our surveyed inventory to compare other movers — a proper inventory is the only way to compare two quotes honestly, because it is the one thing that makes the numbers describe the same job.

How long does the quoted price hold?

The validity period is stated on the quote itself. Domestic road moves hold longer than international sea freight, because ocean rates and sailing availability move with the market and with the season. If a quote is close to expiring and your plans have slipped, tell us and we will re-check it rather than let it lapse quietly.

Why do you need a survey when others quote over the phone?

Because a phone quote is priced on an assumption about volume, and volume is the single biggest driver of what a move costs. When the assumption turns out to be wrong, the correction arrives on moving day as an add-on. Surveying first is slower by an hour and cheaper by considerably more than that.

Do you quote for part of a move?

Yes. Pack-only, unpack-only, a single item, a few cartons, storage on its own, or customs clearance on a shipment somebody else is carrying. Tell us which part you want handled and that is what we will price, rather than a full package you do not need.

Can you help with residence paperwork or entry documents?

No. We are a relocation partner, not an immigration adviser. What we do is build the physical move around the dates your employer or your adviser confirms, so that nothing arrives before you do or waits at a port accruing charges. Where there is a gap, storage bridges it.

What if I need to move sooner than the form suggests?

Say so in the form or on the call. Urgent moves are normal work — we do video surveys the same day and we know which lanes have capacity this week. What we will not do is promise a sailing or a slot we have not confirmed, so you will get a straight answer about what is genuinely achievable.
